Weird, productive Thursday

Wah haven't blogged for a long time. The past couple of weeks since Week 5 were really busy, quizzes, assignments, volleyball UNI games, midterms this week. Still have one more paper on Saturday before the long-awaited one week break yeah!

Today was a weirdly productive day, especially since it is a Thursday. Thursdays are usually my recuperation day, after chiong-ing 5 mods from Monday to Wednesday. So usually I'll wake up late, have a slow lunch, read the papers, retreat to my bed for a nap, wake up and prepare tuition stuff, then tuition from 5-7pm first, then dinner at home, after which tuition again from 830pm to 10pm plus. My Thurs routine is scarily routined.

Today was different. I didn't take a nap. I didn't read the papers. I managed to study for most part of the afternoon. I stayed back after tuition after 7pm to talk to the centre-in-charge and the another teacher. I gulped my dinner in ten minutes. And I have time to blog even though my Finance paper is on Sat..

Anyway, the bunch of us were talking about school stuff in Coffee Club last evening. I was always bewildered yet amazed at how Coffee Club is so serene and distant from the School of Economics, which is just 50m away across the street. I like the atmosphere there, slow and calm; the difference between the enclave and the pit is just too stark. Yup the bunch of us was there for dinner, basically just to chill and relax after a hard day.

A couple of them were complaining how busy school was and there was simply no time to pursue any other activities or non-curricular stuff. I always remind myself about the little happy things that kept me going during school term, be it reminiscing on fond memories, or looking forward to something joyous. I hope the people around me could feel happy about themselves, about school, about life.

Half the term is almost over. I still could not believe how fast everything has been - and it seems I'm always including such sentences in my entries. Hai...

Alright I think I better get back to mugging. Will try to post some recent pictures here when I have more free time maybe next week. Can't wait for tennis sessions, mahjong, chillout session at some cool place, KTV, watching movie with my sweetheart, get back to exercise and many more.
