Everyone has a part to play and you can do better than the people around you, if you believe.

What's important:
1) Helping others with your abilities and not just with money
2) Looking good and of course important, that's basic self respect
3) Feel important and be useful, there's a place for everyone in this world, find yours
4) Love those worth loving, family, friends, idols, dogs etc
5) Stay true to yourself, that's an often overlooked source of happiness

Nadal performed magic once again

93th entry: 11june2007 22:36
listening to: big chair - travis

Last night's French Open finals was satisfying yet disappointing... I wanted Nadal to secure the third consecutive title, however it hurts a little when Federer just couldn't do much to convert those break points, and he was just this short of getting his final and very elusive Grand Slam title. Nevertheless, it was cool to watch these two tennis powerhouses trying to outwin each other.

I wonder if Federer will ever get to attain the honor of obtaining all the Grand Slam titles; Nadal proves too menacing on clay for Federer to handle. But seriously, Federer's backhand was really superb, and Nadal's forehand and plain tenacity was just formidable. Really made me wanna pick up tennis seriously...

Anyway, I've signed up for tennis lessons starting next month with my army friends. Definitely a good start for more exciting games in future.

Today was the start of my fifth week of internship, and it didn't really cross my mind that five more weeks of internship would mean the start of another very busy period of 3 months. A part of me prefers studying, cos it's more 'own time own target' and I can choose whether to attend or skip the lesson. However, I think school will probably be so different next sem that it scares me a little to go back and face reality. I rather be busy with work now and not think about how much everything is going to fall in place.

Haven't been catching up with most of my friends lately, besides the usual suspects. I guess I'll start finding them up soon, before school starts and before everyone slips back.
