The simple life

listening to: look after you - the fray

freshman year has ended, effectively last thursday. i can't believe how fast that has happened. many times i wished for school term to end sooner so that i could have my holidays, but somehow i do not want my university life to go by so quickly.

the past few months had been great, besides making many new friends, chiong-ing for deadlines and the late-night talk-cock sessions while mugging, also having the chance to go on a overseas CIP trip to Shanghai last December. i often felt regretful for not spending enough time with my parents and brother, my good ol' pals and army dudes. this summer, i'll definitely catch up with you guys before another hectic school term comes my way.

this summer holiday is full of plans right now, i have trouble finding time to put away my books and notes even (usually i'll settle that the moment my last paper ends...) anyway, what's life without a little mess? i'm rather optimistic with the time i'm going to spend the next few months, going to take up tennis, starting internship on 14 may, possibly a couple of holiday trips, getting back into regular exercise and reading as well.

just had a crazy tiring day with the volleyball bunch, had training at spans clubhouse early in the morning, when i saw my sec school coach after so many years. surprised that he could recognise me, even though i thought i was rather slack last time and with my bad-looking long hair now... chiong-ing sentosa tomorrow with them for some fun at beach volleyball, hope the weather can be perfect yeah.

right now, probably another week or two to the release of results, and before the comparison and the disappointment start setting in, i'm living life the way it should be, the simple yet fulfilling way.
