Everyone has a part to play and you can do better than the people around you, if you believe.

What's important:
1) Helping others with your abilities and not just with money
2) Looking good and of course important, that's basic self respect
3) Feel important and be useful, there's a place for everyone in this world, find yours
4) Love those worth loving, family, friends, idols, dogs etc
5) Stay true to yourself, that's an often overlooked source of happiness

Feels great to feel young and to feel like a tourist!

89th entry: 21april2007 22:18
listening to: sexy back - justin timberlake feat. timbaland

I feel I haven't had enough rest yet, but it doesn't matter. as long as it doesn't involve mugging or doing projects, that's perfectly fine with me!

I felt totally like a kid and a tourist yesterday! Had so much fun choosing candies and chocolates at Candy Empire before heading for the 'Songs of the Sea' musical fountain performance at Sentosa. Unexpectedly the show blew me away, the atmosphere was perfect - with the star-filled night sky, soothing sea breeze and dazzling display of lights and sounds, I found myself immersed in the performance. I thought I wouldn't be really impressed with the musical fountain show but I suppose I'm wrong. Of course there was someone beside me that made it special too! What a nice way to spend a Friday evening.

Yeah I bet we were one of the very few Singaporeans at the show, in fact I don't remember seeing any other local except those over-friendly Sentosa staff. Not bad, it felt as if I had gone for a short yet satisfying vacation - all in one evening. I'm a little lazy to post the pictures here, but go for the show if you have the chance to! The experience is really cool - my guarantee~

Tomorrow's the last day for indulging, after which my one-week trial period for healthy living will start - hope I can keep it going, but I also doubt the effectiveness... Anyway the school gym has been really crowded lately, must be due to the guilt of not working out for the past few hectic months and the lousy diet and late sleeping hours. I've come to a conclusion that it takes much more than determination to stay healthy; you need motivation to really keep that going... and some luck too (the weather lately sucks big time)

My dad's getting supper right now, and I don't usually resist the idea of having meals with my family, haha. You get the drift..

Besides that, the past week was also spent hanging out with some old friends at Bar Stop, visiting old folks at Econ Nursing Home, working out at the school gym, chilling out at the Sentosa beaches and giving more tuition than I had wished for. Hectic, I would say, for someone who loves to take things slowly, nevertheless, post-exam days are just simply cool.
