Music and lyrics

Music and Lyrics rocks my socks! I simply love Drew Barrymore, and all her previous shows especially 50 First Dates! Most might find this show a little less subtle (Tim likes this word..) than it should have been and probably too cliched as well, but I found it terrific!

There was this scene where Sophie and Alex quibbled over which is more important: music or lyrics. I felt that Sophie said it really well - the lyrics are like the 'second level of knowing someone'. Of course, the theme song rocked as well.

Anyway, great way to end my day off cos I was feeling nauseous on the way to school, sleepy and hungry during Comms lesson, uneasy during AE lesson etc. Saw the school doctor today and it just reminded me of visiting the MO during those army days. The doctor wasn't around when I went and the receptionist had to call him to come back, just like how the MO is always out of his office. Fortunately, there wasn't any patients around and I didn't have to wait too long.

Comms presentations today - and I thought everyone did very much above average, seriously! I can imagine how nerve-racking it will be next week, especially waiting for my turn in that super cold NSR... Haven't started writing my speech at all, I guess I'll probably need to put in some extra effort to find a good topic and hopefully pull it off, maybe not by telling lame jokes, but by talking about some serious stuff (which may bore the class to sleep...) No idea at all right now, hope this weekend can spurn some inspiration for next week's presentation.

Enough of school stuff, I need to get back to work... Late AE homework first then maybe mark some tuition assignments too.
