Carry my luggage and wait for the rainy day

alright, i haven't been diligently updating this blog, not exactly because i'm so caught up with school work and getting stressed out and all. in fact i'm rather relaxed still, just a little stressed when friends around me are mugging hard and worrying about not coping well and stuff. the reason why i hadn't blogged so often is that i haven't found anything special to write about, and i believe that you guys probably don't want to know the nitty-gritty details of my life.

anyway, im gonna stop writing about smu for a while and tell you guys something else other than school. the 2 songs i'm listening to right now are fantastic, if any of you are into mandarin pop, please don't miss out on these two fabulous singers. I LOVE THEIR MUSIC! Stefanie sun's voice is the determining factor for my desire and i must admit that i have been her fan since she released her first album back in 2000. on the other hand, Penny Dai's music is probably less familiar with the general public in singapore but check out her tunes! she never fails to impress me with her talented vocals and unique songwriting styles. Can't wait to get my hands on these 2 albums when they are released next week.

there are still plenty of things i wanna do besides plain mugging, gonna try out the tour guide job, whether or not i can afford the time i'll leave that decision to a later time. i also wanna take up vocal lessons just for the fun of it, but the courses are all so expensive. still waiting for MIC to offer some subsidised vocal lessons with a few music school near SMU. then also wanna train for volleyball again, cos i enjoy the sport (esp the beach vball) and because i havent been playing ever since i quit the cca in JC1, i guess i need to put in extra effort in order to improve. then again, i also need to raise money for my shanghai comm service trip in december, and friends who know me well enough will probably know how much i yearn to travel!! i seriously can't wait for the student exchange programme in year 2/3 haha.

havent posted photos for quite some time too. here's a few photos from the ocbc scholarship ceremony a couple of months back and the neoprint of me and kailing, which i thought was rather well-taken and interesting: (all these photos are posted here in my neat little blog entry - thanks to my capable scanner!)
