Uni-Y 'Lost' Camp: 31Jul to 3Aug

The past week was spent at a community service camp and I must emphasise that it was time well spent. Not only did the campers get to help out at different beneficiaries, we also had fun getting to know each other from the same school.

Our group Orion, had the chance to visit All Saints Home, a nursing home for the elderly. Personally, I felt alot for the old folks there and many thoughts went through my mind. I felt sorry for those residents because they looked depressed and lost. However, I hid my feelings because I believe they didn't want us to feel that way too. Anyway, the entire group tried our best to help out in which ever way we could and brought smiles to their faces. All in all, the camp was a rather meaningful one and I think everyone (be it the campers or the beneficiaries) has benefited from this wonderful experience.

Great to know all the people of Orion and of course the facis who made Orion such a unique and different group! Looking forward to meet up at Breko to use our prize vouchers!

2 camps coming up next week, before that happens, I'm going to treat myself to a well-deserved break this weekend. I apologise for late SMS replies or missed calls...
