A Shooting Star!

Quite a hectic week, it being the final week before school officially starts on monday. Econs OG chalet at downtown east, orion group lunch at breko plus kbox, 2so2a dinner at holland v, hippo bus tour around the city, farewell dinner for liting then finally this afternoon's convocation at suntec.

The best had to be the dinner with my so2a friends, supposedly a farewell dinner for suchang, but it turned out to be a huge gathering of people I haven't seen in a long while, of course with all too familiar faces as well. I particularly enjoyed the part where we ventured back to old rjc and made our way through the dark paths. A few of us saw the shooting star when we were walking along the track. Super cool, my first encounter with a shooting star and it took me a while to figure out what I had seen. Made a couple of simple wishes!! Anyway, I was really comforted to know that the JC class has grown up quite a bit and every one seemed to be doing well in their lives! All the way guys.

Countdown to school: 1 day left. My timetable was out a few days back and I was assigned with a 4-day week (free on tues). Looking at my schedule plainly, I find that there are actually many slots available for slacking, but according to seniors, those precious blocks of time are sadly taken up by projects, presentations and self study as well. Tomorrow will mark the end of slack period and back to serious business, be it studies or school activities. Very soon, I'll begin to miss the slow pace of life I have been enjoying for the first 8 months this year....
