Everyone has a part to play and you can do better than the people around you, if you believe.

What's important:
1) Helping others with your abilities and not just with money
2) Looking good and of course important, that's basic self respect
3) Feel important and be useful, there's a place for everyone in this world, find yours
4) Love those worth loving, family, friends, idols, dogs etc
5) Stay true to yourself, that's an often overlooked source of happiness

What a week!

50th entry: 23may2006 12:22
listening to: jia zhuang - cai yi lin

Wah, I have multiple ulcers on my lips and a super bad throat (just coughed out so much phlegm), I believe it's time to fall sick... Cos I havent fallen sick for a long time. However, I just signed up for a camp assignment from tomorrow till friday. I guess I'll have to wait until this weekend to allow myself to recuperate properly.

At first, I was only expected to be attached to another experienced instructor to learn the ropes because I'm a serious newbie in this. But, in the end they allocated me a camp group with another newbie (happens to be ejia's friend) and so we were expected to plunge right into taking a group of sec 3 kids. I'm looking forward to enjoying myself and making new friends during the 3D2N camp but above all, I also hope to refresh myself with those outdoor memories I have when I was still in school or NS. Cool! I just hope I don't fall sick during the camp...

Yup had loads of fun taking up many different jobs for the past few months. Hmm, I'm contemplating of going back to Sentosa next week to help out with their Balloon Hat Festival. I believe it'll be quite fun too, just like the Swiss Beach Vball International last week. I also had a chalet with SO2A gang on Sunday at Sentosa (again..) but it was a huge disappointment as the weather was terrible. In the end, we missed getting ourselves a nice tan and a good game of beach vball. However, the stayover was cool besides squeezing into a crazily small room, we also talked about many interesting topics. The only complaint was that I couldn't breathe properly cos I felt uncomfortable with so little space in the room (and to think that I was the only one who had one whole bed to myself! haha) and of course the aircon... ~Aircon is the bane of all my sleeps, I just find myself very out of breath when i wake up in the morning...~ On the whole, the chalet was alright: glad to have met up with Kat and QP, whom I haven't seen in a long time.

In addition, I also went for my OG gathering on Sat, organised by Kangyi. Being the enthusiastic member in the group, we were all appreciative of his efforts of getting all of us together and initiating conversations during the meal. Felt comforted to know that most of the girls are doing well in unis local or overseas, and excited for the guys to be embarking on their own fruitful journeys come August/Sept. All the best to everyone in the OG!
