Unrelenting blankets of rain - the weather is crazy!!

Wow, the weather is getting crazy lately and i would seriously preferred hot scorching weather than rainy and cold days. rainy days are quite a pain; they affect my outdoor plans, mood for the day, lifestyle habits. so i've been staying indoors and limiting my activities indoors.

Although i had bouts of almost screaming into the sky to stop the rain (think i'm going crazy as well), i've also had something to smile about. Firstly, I've finally submitted my leave forecast today, applied all of my overseas leave and local leave and settled all my regimental duties at one go. so that means i'll probably won't be seeing camp for some time. Have been waiting for this to come for so long, however recalling the wonderful experiences and interesting people i've come across during my NSF period, i think i'll miss them all.

Also, i can't help but feel excited about this sat's bangkok getaway! hope the weather over there isn't as relentless as singapore. going to do some cny shopping and basically letting my hair down and rewarding myself for the work and effort i've put in for the past 2 years. after this shopping trip and next month's backpacking trip to taiwan, i'm going to start working and prepare myself for more gruelling tasks ahead.

Yup, in addition i'm also feeling the festive mood in advance. i don't usually start to feel excited and jumpy until spring cleaning or reunion dinner but right now i feel that this year's cny is going to be great! i'm starting to stay away from barbers, and haha i think it'll probably take a while for my friends to get used to me sporting longer hair. maybe i'll colour my hair in taiwan as well.. sounds great!

Hahaha feel like i'm breathing much freer and easier. I'm going to stop here cos i feel like sleeping early tonight (haven't done that in quite a while) and when i return from bangkok, maybe i'll post some photos here!
