hello to october!

listening to: sammi cheng's old album (i deserved)

hey guys! its october already and i can't believe its only 3 months before 2006 arrives. not that i'm complaining time is passing too fast, cos i wish time can fly instead... but its just that im afraid to look back at the events of 2005 and regret that i should have accomplished more. anyway, still have 3 months to fulfil whatever resolutions i have set for myself in jan.

october's going to be rather hectic for my company (as usual), we haven't experienced any rest or peace since a few months ago. there will plenty of guard duties this month and i'm just glad that im not part of it. guard duties are such a dread and i'll never forget the lethargy and grime on my face every time the duty ends. but i mean what's NS without guard duties right?

yup. so i'll be busy with prep for the upcoming exercise out of camp, and i'm really thankful for the chance to be away from camp. i have been missing the good times when we worked hard and played hard and whenever we travelled out of camp for store runs or courses, they always ended up in bouts of laughter and we really have to thank munwai for these jokes. this cute mild-mannered giant has started clearing leave and soon he'll be officially out of the army. not forgetting ck, ruohao and melvin, this bunch of people was a great joy to work with.

alright so much for reminiscing, but i really couldn't help it considering the current state of the company. talking about the company, we just had our cohesion last friday at east coast park again. the original idea was to spend the day at sentosa sunbathing, gazing at babes, playing beach volleyball or simply chill out. so whatever lofty ideas we had before were totally screwed when we had to gather at ecp. i still enjoyed playing volleyball in the hot sun though. oh yah the karaoke session with tingyi and siuchun was great as well, had a wonderful time choosing all the latest songs to croon. haha i almost forgot that i was having my braces on throughout!

alright, the week has officially started (its past midnight now so its monday...) ok need to catch some sleep so i can start off the week afresh. quite looking forward to this week actually, and i just hope everything can go according to plan!
