had my first attempt in volunteering in a couple of years, or rather since i started NS, really enjoyed teaching kids what i know, taught science to a bunch of primary school kids. though i'm not exactly good in primary school science, it sure felt good to be able to pass on my knowledge to the younger ones. oh yah some of the questions indeed stumped me, learnt a couple of new facts. water spiders and water beetles are some insects that can live in the water or on the water surface.

it seems like im still better at primary school math, getting very used to drawing models to solve problems rather than algebra. there are still times when the solution is actually very simple but i just had to employ some other higher-level methods to solve the same question. if only life could be so much simpler if we just sit on our problems instead of finding numerous ways to resolve them. i guess i've learnt that the simplest things in life are actually the ones that make life work better most of the time.

give your complicated brains a break, suffer from amnesia just for a while, let your guard down for a moment, stop adding complex situations to your databank for a day, extend your simplicity to your speech, allow yourself to just slide away from intelligence and suck up to ignorance - - - maybe you'll just realise yourself much happier and less stressed up. try it.
